SIX months before taking her own life that fine young lady proclaimed to our founder :- "I can't understand it uncle everyone thinks of bricks mortar and money NO ONE CARES ABOUT PEOPLE".

In its ruling the CoA directed that the application before it was wrong and that the remedy for the copyright owner(s) lay in an action to be founded after the Daily Mirror was to publish extracts, and then to claim damages. We simply pointed out to the cost and method of seeking to establish damages in such a scenario.....HOW MUCH THE PROFESSIONS WOULD MAKE through the suggested / proposed scenario. In a nutshell copyright law did not exist for the occasion but it would exist after the 'Daily Mirror' published !!!!

IT WAS like the parents (copyright owners) of a child (book) held at knife point by a criminal (Daily Mirror) threatening to cut the child to pieces (print extracts) and the parents (copyright owners) calling upon the police (applying to Court/Judges) to stop that crime. AND the police turning round to say "Let him cut the child to pieces WE CAN THEN HAVE A TRIAL FOR MURDER" (Fair comment / holding opinions IS guaranteed to all citizens under the European Convention on Human Rights (ECoHR)* supported and ratified by the United Kingdom).

The CAMILA project*, pointed out in 1991 " We are no longer in 'Bleak House' Era and or times. The citizens are mostly educated and better informed; at the touch of a button they benefit from and impart, receive information to and from around the globe. We are reaching for the stars. IT IS TIME FOR OUR LEGAL EXPERTS(!)* to reach for their consciousness and so must our governing elite, the quangos and the rest of the bureaucrats in government institutions.

Our LEA's are relying on one another and the income generating conditions and practices from within the present framework our Legal Services and System operate. Citizens systematically and habitually ARE being denied Fundamental HUMAN RIGHTS and equal treatment through financial impositions, by 'grinding the poor to a halt' (a well known adage on our 'Law and our Courts'). We need to bring about changes both in Law and attitudes to LAW. The High and Mighty are of the opinion that we are still in "Bleak House" Era. The much revered independence of our Judiciary appears to be used to impose on the citizens undeclared Government Policies; with the Government of the day washing its hands (as in the N.U.M and other cases). Similarly in every other case, every victim and citizen’s tribulations and complaints are brushed aside on the very SAME grounds but with the usual:- "they are the experts, what do you know of the law? " YOU Refer them to The CAMILA Project* and the proposed C.A.P’s in the future; for now refer them to "The Breeding Grounds-case" * and "The Stephen Lawrence" * ongoing saga and the overdrawn tribulations of his suffering parents.

The CAMILA Project * needs you as much as you need and will be needing its resources which YOU MUST HELP PUT TOGETHER. The proposed DATA BANK (of THE Citizens’ Alternative Precedents) will seek to and, WILL ESTABLISH the seriousness of and the extent of the situation. 20,000 cases a year to the Law Society (whatever the true figure be well over double by the late 1998 we are given to understand). AND the average citizen is none the wiser. Individually citizens have nothing to support their complaints and are unable to present their individual cases alone.

NOTE PLEASE. New Labour, in 1995, announced its intention "......when in government it would maintain a register of judges whose performance was/is questioned". Following the announcement our founder wrote to the leader, the Rt. Hon Tony Blair. Exchanges followed with his private office. A meeting with the Parliamentary spokesman on LEGAL AFFAIRS, exchanges with and submissions by our founder (in the course of a debate, at Westminster Hall, in the course of "THE FESTIVAL OF RIGHTS") that very year lead to a letter our founder received. Through that letter New Labour (in opposition then ) assured us (the citizens of the UK) and PROMISED:-

"This document, ... promises radical and wide-ranging measures to ensure that the legal system as a whole, including the Legal Aid Scheme, the Legal Professions, the courts and the judiciary, is focussed explicitly on the interests of the individual citizen and consumer of legal services". In other words the courts will ensure the CITIZENS ARE SERVED; not simply the persons from within the legal circles; benefit from services by the courts and the Judiciary to be focussed 'correctly' and not blinked. The letter went on "We propose to put an end to waste, excessive costs, and fraud within the legal system and to refer every aspect of the operations of the legal profession to the Monopolies and Mergers Commission". THE IMPORTANT WORDS are "...fraud within the legal system...". We have noted many changes since New Labour came into power. The present government must not succumb to the pressures and the oppositions raised from within the Legal System. It is time for EQUALITY and equal treatment. The unions were hammered to the ground and made to realise that the WHOLE, the other citizens HAVE RIGHTS. So should the 'almighty be made to recognise that they are not above the law. The so called 'untouchables' must be caused to realise that their personal interests (dishonest at that*) are not above the interests of the citizens as a whole and or to the country en masse. Our reputation as a nation of and with ideals AND proclaimed respect to democratic principles has been tarnished and violated by the very circles who were let loose on society. For centuries, and for far too long, they have been free to act as they please; outside the LAWS of Parliament. With contempt, and impunity. Unchecked and uncontrolled; unmanageable? The Law exists not for them? WHY?

The following challenge was put to a past Lord Chancellor: "Can YOU IMAGINE the state of British Industry IF one and all from within it were let loose to act as they pleased unchecked, unsupervised and UNCONTROLLED?

The CAMILA Project and the citizens of the United Kingdom, look forward to being INFORMED of the progress in the investigations, announcement on 30 July 1998 because the matters amount to an investigation in corrupt practices*. The issues arising from and attached to those serious matters must be looked at with true adherence to the law; the authorities are reminded that a wise old saying does qualify "There can be no smoke without a fire" and another "the fish begins to rot in the head". The high profile investigation should not and must not be treated as the John Stalker investigation was; such practices and 'policies' serious as they were/are, eventually were the subject of a ruling AGAINST the United Kingdom. ALL condemnations at Strasbourg should serve as reminders to all, that we are no longer insulated as an island from invasion and EVEN less from fair comment by others. A fair and incorruptible judicial system is the first priority of any, alleged, democratic state and government. When the Government (any) fails to consider the views OF and deal WITH the tribulations imposed on its own citizens from within and 'BY STATE RUN AND MAINTAINED INSTITUTIONS' that government ceases to have the right to refer to itself as a democratic government. DEMOCRACY means the state (KRATOS) in the hands of (DEMOS) the public; not in the hands of any single person and or group which is under any pressure and or controlled by the vested interests of others, let alone subject to 'secret briefings' and or undeclared policies and or practices. Ultimately it is the state that suffers the consequences on behalf of its own tested and 'abused' citizens; those who are caused to suffer the consequences of an 'amoral society'; the society created and promoted as and by those who Sir Peter Michael Ibden (ex Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police) spoke of in an explicit interview he granted to Valerie Grove (refer to "The Times" in October 1992).
