We trust and hope that the present investigation by the Yard will be extended to and investigate matters we shall be drawing attention to through our pages.
The Home Office and the Lord Chancellor's Office should get together on the above issue and consider the G. H Scriven affidavits and Statement's of fact along with cases we shall be bringing to the forefront in the near future.

Well, well thanks to our vigilance in the matter of the Housing Benefit scams at Haringey council in North London, and our submissions and pressures on the Legal Aid Board between July 1998 and December 1998 on 19 May 1999 the announcement from the Lord Chancellor's Department that cowboy lawyers* are to loose access to Legal Aid funds and facilities. About time that we had laymen on panels looking into complaints about the activities of lawyers and in complaints submitted to the Legal Aid Board. We shall be publishing material and evidence attached to issues raised in our pages and in particular the instances when there were blatant abuses of Legal Aid certificates that wrongly were authorised by public servants.
